Hyssop, a richly scented, exotic Biblical plant, was most commonly used in ritual cleansing ceremonies. The Israelites applied the sacrificial lamb’s blood to door lintels with its branches during Passover. They also used the herb to symbolically cleanse healed lepers, repentant sinners and holy buildings such as the tabernacle. It was once called a “Holy Herb” because it was used for cleaning sacred places; hence, we have named it our “HOLY FIRE COLLECTION”.

Hyssop speaks of spiritual cleansing by the refining fire of the Holy Spirit and can best be described as a “fresh, clean-smelling” aroma.

Ps 51:7 “Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.”
